  1. What are the hours of the camp?
    The camp hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00pm.
  2. What does my child have to bring to camp?
    Each camper should bring a lunch, snacks and drinks each day.  Since we have added an outdoor component this year, a small water bottle is advisable.  Sunscreen is recommended.
  3. What if my child has specific allergies or health needs?
    On the online registration form, please list all allergies and medications that need to be administered.  You may bring any medications the first day of camp with written instructions describing frequency and dosage.  The medical authorization form must be brought the first day of camp.
  4. Do you take credit cards?
    We accept all credit and debit cards using our online registration service.  To register, go to our registration page by clicking on “Enroll Now”.  Our registration service also accepts checks.
  5. Is there a discount for two or more sessions attended?
    Yes.  All camps are $235.00 per week (except Camp Scibot is $450 and Camp Deep Space is $285) or $450.00 for two weeks, $675 for three weeks, $900 for four weeks (discounts do not apply to Camp Scibot). Many campers attend the camp for more than one week.  We also offer a Holiday discount for camp registrations that occur before January 1, 2012.  The discounted price is $215 per week (excluding Camp Scibot).  We offer a multi-sibling discount of $10 per sibling. There is a $45.00 lab charge for campers attending Camp Little Robot Inventor, Camp Robot Inventor and Camp Science Chef.
  6. What if I am trying to register and the camp I want my child to attend has reached its 18 camper limit?
    If the camp is full, it will be marked as “full” when you try to register.  You will have the option of being placed on a waiting list.  At this point you do have the capability of choosing another camp that has space.  Look on the Camp locations page to see if the camp is full before you go to the online registration service.
  7. When can my child be dropped of and picked up from camp?
    Campers may be dropped of at 8:30 am and must be picked up by 4:00 pm
  8. Do you provide Pre and Post Camp services?
    We have extended day services at all of our locations.  The cost is $25.00 per week for Pre Camp, which starts at 8:00 am Post Camp services are from 3:30 – 5:30 pm and cost $35.00 dollars per week.  Campers that are picked up later than 5:30 pm will incur additional charges at the rate of $1.00 per minute.
  9. What is your Tax ID number?
    Our number is 20-0744590.  This number is also on your e-mail confirmation.  Please keep this confirmation for your records.  This can act as a receipt for your flexible spending account.  If you lose your receipt, please e-mail us with a request.  This is faster than calling us.  Thanks in advance!
  10. Will my child receive a camp T-shirt?
    Each camper will receive one T-shirt with each week they register for camp.  T-shirts ARE required to be worn each day of camp.  Additional shirts can be ordered at the time of registration.
  11. What qualifications do your teachers have and what is the staff to camper ratio?
    Our camp instructors are college graduates and our camp counselors are college students.  Our camper/instructor ratio is 9-1 or less.
  12. Are there any outside activities?
    Due to the nature of our camp, we spend the majority of our time indoors.  Some science games and activities do lend themselves to going outside.  Also, campers are on the playgrounds of our camps for 30 minutes after lunch.
  13. Can friends and siblings be placed in the same group?
    If you wish your child to be placed with friends or siblings please let us know in advance on the registration form.  We can accommodate this request as long as they are in the same age group. Our age groups are 4-5 year olds – 6-8 year olds – 9-12 year olds and 13-14 year olds.
  14. What if I want to register but my child will not be four years old until this summer?
    If your child is only 3 years old at this time and will not be four until this summer, we will accept their registration as long as they will be four years old by June 1, 2012 or before their week of camp begins.
  15. What is your refund policy?
    Full refunds will be given until April 1.2012. A 75% refund will be given  between April 2 and May 31, 2012. There is a $35.00 cancellation fee to cover our online registration costs.
